Yes, I think that is right. Dell is 3 yrs, Apple is 1 yr. And I don't think that you can get the Applecare extended warranty on an ACD unless you buy it with a computer. |

Plenty of other companies would be more than happy to sell you insurance on a Cinema display.
I buy my electronics on my Classic Visa. That gives me an extra year of warranty at no charge. |
