We would like to add another gallery to the photo gallery. Have any ideas?

Other Category:
Apple store openings, news photos, products that aren't mini specific etc.
It looks like you have all the necessary categories covered. |

I'd like an "other" category too. It would give an option for pictures of setups that don't involve a Mini, or other Apple related stuff, like memorabilia.
Maybe just classify it as an "Apple - Other" category, meaning anything to do with Apple or Macs in general. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

the only suggestion i have to make the gallery better is to make it so you don't have to email in your own photos
an uploading client would be really well appreciated
no one wants to send in an email of some photo they just took of their mini or something when they can upload it to a server in 5 seconds and show it off on the forum |

An "other" gallery might work. We were also thinking about a "gadgets" gallery. It would be for iPods, iPhones, gaming systems, cell phones and more. There will be another two galleries added later this spring. One will be for....

We allowed that at first, but had to shut it down because of abuse. I think the current way of submitting pictures has worked out well. We just hit 600 pictures in the Mac mini setups gallery. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Yeah the upload method, while an annoyance, is a much better idea if you get lots of photos since you can get server crashes when the server gets older (my NS game clan had this problem so they clan shut down for a few months then came back with a set of rules on monthly upload amount, pic size, and warnings for posting pointless photos). _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

I haven't had the chance to mention it, but we added a new gallery for iMac setups at the end of last week. _________________ Brian
