Monday, June 18, 2007
Posted by: Brian
SwitchResX 3.7.9 was released today. SwitchResX is an application that helps you manage the resolution of all your monitors.
Fixes and improvements include:
- Common timings were not kept activated when SwitchResX was quit
- Better options to reset to factory when something is messed up after activating a bad resolution, you can reset all displays, even if you cannot boot from a messed one
- Corrects some bugs where reset to factory could remove the name of the display given by Mac OS X itself
SwitchResX 3.7.9 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later, and weighs in at 2.20MB.

| Could be very useful for people installing a Mac mini in their cars with those small widescreen LCD displays. |

Or with BIG screens. I've been using SwitchResX with my Sony projection TV. I found it easier to configure than DisplayConfigX. I was having some major underscan issues and it did the trick. _________________ 1.66GHz, 1.83GHz and 2.0GHz Mac minis
