That's the big thing for me - perfect for running Parallels!

That's going to be one of my big justifications for a pimpin' Mac Pro purchase early next year (for Parallels, not necessarily for the nasty though) Smile

Of course, if the iMac's will take 4GB of ram by then, offer a 30" model, and have a dual-link DVI output for spanning to a second display, I'll have to consider it as well. (and I'm guessing something like that will NOT be available )

This is an impressive upgrade and the low end MBP looks to be well worth the $1999. Unfortunately for me, I'm not in the market for a laptop upgrade right now. My PowerBook Al 15" does what I need it to when I'm on the road. An upgraded mini would be another story!!!

You took the words right out of my mouth!

I would wait until next week to buy one. What if Apple comes out with iLife '07 Monday at WWDC? Surprised

I'm sure it will be instantly bundled with all new computers.

Ah, i see what you mean. But still i'm going down to the Apple store in London tomorrow to get one. If apple comes out with iLife '07 i'll wait until October to buy it along with Leopard (as a family pack, it'll be cheaper that way cos i'll have two Macs then)

Hopefully leopard will take full use of the new santa rosa platform built into the new MacBook Pro.

next week is wwdc, hopefully leopard has all the bugs ironed out for shipping later this year.
