I'm ordering a 2006 Cooper Mini S as soon as they start accepting orders for 2006 models!

(although I don't think I will incorporate the mini into the mini, I WILL have to get some pictures of my two minis together) Smile

dmonckton,

Do you have any info on the 7" Lilliput touch screen? Who is the the manufacturer, Lilliput? I Googled it but came up kind of empty. Does it hook up via VGA or DVI?

It was bought recently from Amazon, do a search there and you will find it. The touch screen even works great with
OSX. Yes, Lilliput is the manufacturer. Very Happy

Thanks for the info.

I'm really thinking of doing a project like this. I've been drawing some things up this afternoon. I wish the power button was on the front because I was thinking of mounting it in my Honda Element, there is a pefect spot above the glove compartment. I really don't own a Mini I was just joking above but you know someone is going to put a mini in a mini.

How did you mount your display?

There was a flat piece of plastic that covers the sunroof motor. I was able to attach it to that plastic without interfering with the motor.

Nice job! I've often thought about integrating a PC into one of my vehicles (navigation software, mp3, etc)...but with the neighborhood I live in, it would NOT last long... Sad

Probably a stupid Q but the touch screen works with OSX. Are there drivers?
