Microsoft Releases Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.5 Update

Microsoft has released the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.5 Update. According to the company, this update contains several improvements to enhance security and stability, including fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code. In addition, this update includes all the improvements released in all previous Office 2004 updates. It applies to Office 2004 Standard Edition, Office 2004 Student and Teacher Edition, Office 2004 Professional Edition, Word 2004, Excel 2004, PowerPoint 2004, and Entourage 2004. The Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.5 Update weighs in at 59.5MB, and requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later.

Nope. It's supposed to come out the second half of this year. But I wouldn't be surprised to see that pushed back with the Leopard delay. |

Aren't there plug ins developed for Open Office (so also NeoOffice) to read these formats also? As soon as the coporate world opens up their eyes, they will start to drop MS Office in favour for Open Office as already is done by many governments of cities and corporations all over the world.
