| I am currently considering buying a mac mini, my first mac since the first generation iBook I got many years ago (about 7 I think). I was just wondering when I can expect new models to come out as I would like a core2duo (or later) processor in a mac mini before I buy one. |

I said by end of June. Why?
Hopefully Leopard will be out by then, so it would be time for Apple to upgrade the hardware for the new 64- bit software. |

I think it will time with the release of Leopard and iLife '07. So, I will say by the end of June.

I'm already waiting for a new Core2Duo mini since Januari, I never WAITED for a computer this long, this is rediculous! But let's face it: All good things will come to those who wait...

I've never gotten any good to come from waiting till last minute (last 12 hours really) to do research papers that have to be 7-10 pages and counts for 90% of my grade (and miraculously getting a perfect score on it (1-4a.m. I crank out papers well)).

You mix up procrastination, with waiting patiently (well: patiently in my situation....  )

Even with English as a second language, I know the difference. 
One could say however that Apple is procrastinating the new Mac Mini with Core2Duo and other upgrades...

It is time for an update of the mini. Hopefully one will happen in the coming weeks as I'm in the market for a mini |
