It sure is. I would really like to see this addressed in Leopard. I was thinking like a setting in Appearance that overrides the default and allows the window to be maximized no matter what. That would also leave the current screwy methodology in tact for 30" Cinema owners. |

| I have been using Camino exclusively for quite some time, even though there is room for improvement with things like RSS. I just find it to be faster and lighter on resources than Safari. |

I use Safari.
Is anybody here using the Shiira 2 beta? It looks like it has some cool features and sweet looking GUI. |

I just downloaded it. I dont think the GUI is that impressive personally. It is around the same speed as Safari on my computer.
EDIT: the full screen mode is really impressive! |

i still use Firefox. doesnt matter what OS im on, ill always use Firefox with all my extensions and configurations. it may be not as speedy as it is on Windows, but it does everything that i want it to do.
i do like Safari, but it is so limited compared to what i can do in Firefox.
i use Camino once in a while cause its like the basic version of Firefox.
but my main browser is Firefox.

I'm not huge fan of the product, but that's always an option. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Firefox, but v3 is full of bugs on 10.5.6 so I've moved temporarily to Safari. _________________ Mac+, SE30, Classic, 4400 (metal), 603, LC475, iMac bondi (3), iBk orange. Safari has been randomly locking up for months now, so I'm regularly using Camino. I've had no problems with Camino at all. _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

my favorite browser is Mozilla Firefox because It's free, easy to use, and has a lot of features. Various sites provide themes for firefox, so you can change the look and feel of the browser. _________________ build a web site

FYI: I voted for Firefox, as I've always found that, although Safari browses well, it takes a VERY LONG time (like 10+ minutes!!) to print some pages, whereas Firefox takes just a few seconds.
(Obviously something to do with my old HP Laserprinter, and the OSX/HP drivers, but if Firefox can do it, why not Safari?) _________________ Martin at HeadSpin HD now on Blu-ray |

Since I'm a c64 -> dos -> windows -> macos -> windows -> osx/windows user this may effect my choice.
I use Firefox / Opera primarily fairly evenly (voted Firefox though), and use Safari as a back up.
Only use IE on windows when I have too _________________ My cat themed collection:

| I use Safari. Firefox is very unMac-like. I also like Chrome, but I'm used to Safari, so I stick with it. I have encountered a few pages that don't work well in Safari, but the cause is usually from CSS/Javascript designed for their goofy/incorrect handling by Internet Explorer. |
