I guess Apple is the best site for the news without the rumors Smile It's my homepage.

I'll give apple.slashdot and TUAW a go. Thanks.

Another site I visit daily is Macdailynews.

The comments are some of the most immature on the net, even though most of the posters are likely in their 40's. Most of the news as of late has just been RUMOR after RUMOR but I still like to visit

I'm so tired of the iPhone rumors. Mad

I hear you guys. I kind of blame some of this (in a strange way) on Apple too. When is the last time they have released a new product? I don't think there has been a new computer related piece of hardware or software released this year. Even the Apple TV announcement could be seen as a holdover from last year. There really hasn't been anything on the iPod side of things either. Well, unless you count colored iPod shuffles. That leaves us with the iPhone, which isn't coming out until June. I guess what I'm try to say is, no real news equals more rumors.

Some sites I've been checking out lately:

http://alistapart.com - Interesting web design articles; with a strong focus on accessibility and web standards

http://www.designiskinky.net - An Australian based design community/collective with loads of links, portfolios, write ups on various designers and their current work and events/news

http://www.designobserver.com - According to them, "Writings on design and culture" This is a recent find, basically a design blog plus gravy

Another old thread, but again, some members may have changed their opinions and choices since it was started.
Except for Google maps, I only ever use Google as a search engine - and quite a lot.

I have no real favourite, but the ones I use a lot are:

bbc.co.uk for news, because my wife hogs the satellite TV; the Wikipedia because I contribute articles on Thailand, education, and French wine; and Leo.
