Mine is at the bottom with magnification off; recently I have started noticing people having them on the right... _________________ 20" iMac 1.8/160/1G

May I ask why you have the magnification feature on?
I can only think of 3 reasons, bad eyes, it looks "cool" or you have so many thing in your dock that even good eyes have a difficult time viewing what is there.
I find it dizzying. Don't jump on me for stating my opinion. I'm sure quite a few people have magnification turned on.
Maybe I'm just a grouch like John C. Dvorak |

I find auto-hide extremely difficult to work with. Often it pops up when you're working near the bottom of the screen unneccesarily and doesnt always appear first time when rolled over on purpose.
Magnification I sometimes turn on when Im feelin the vibe _________________ 20" iMac 1.8/160/1G

Mine is bottom, medium size, hide on, and magnify at about .01% for no reason in particular. _________________ The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

| I have mine on the bottom-right with magnification on and hiding off. I tend to mix it up quite a bit as time passes. |
