| I want Apple to make a line of mini accessories that could sit on top of the mini. Like Usb/Firewire hub, external hard drive, ipod dock, photo printer with the same anodized aluminum look. That would be cool! |

They would sell a lot of them! I saw some mock ups on another site. I'll see if I can find them. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

From the above link.
Those two would be the cool. The first one is really practical. The second one is just cool! |

There are some great Photoshop illustrations floating around out there but based on history I would think Apple will leave most of the work up to the aftermarket companies to shell these out. I am sure, based on popularity of the mini that we will soon see products from LaCie, Griffin and the company that used to be macmice.com
Personally I would like to see a 250BG firwewire and the hub to stack neatly under the mini. Of course the more accessories you stack under the Mini I think you loose some of the aesthetic miracle on a 2" tall computer. _________________ "...if you get confused listen to the music play..."

A firewire drive would be cool. I agree with you, one of the points to having a mini is that its small and classy looking. You wouldn't want a bunch of stuff piled on top of it. The only way it would work is if the accessories were color matched and the exact same size and shape. |

| How about some kind of audio breakout box! Headphone jack, 1/4 plug in for guitar, 2 usb, 2 firewire ports, speaker level. |

What about a nice design glass/plexiglass stack/mini tower, to put the mini in, and in the shelf underneith the external drive and below the dvd burner? Of course these has to be the horizontal models of course... Actually I'l try to find something like that as this would solve some of my storing problems on my desk! _________________ take care,

That would be cool for storage but don't you think because of the mini's size you could just stack things. I would love to see a mock up though. |

I read somewhere, that he top is easily scratched so don put anything on top of it, and since I also own a nice looking external drive enclosure, it could easily put in that glass thingy. _________________ take care,

That would be great. Most card readers are lightweight and slide all over the desk when you try to take a card in or out. It would be nice to have a solidly made that would fit on top of your mini. I hope Apple is listening! _________________ 1.42GHz Mac-mini

Me too.
There is a company called Colorware computer products. I'd like them to start doing the mini in colors.

I'm waiting for my Mini to arrive. While I wait, I've mocked up some stackable peripherals you might be interested in: Mini Concept
There's another concept at asteroid.divnull.com _________________ Jay
