Largest release in Adobe's history? Sounds like they're proud of their accomplishments.
I hope their pride is well founded. I'd be happy with some good speed improvement and bug reductions in the core applications, along with some new features. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

| This should be awesome! I'm running the beta on my intel mini mac and its pretty low spec and runs surprisingly quickly. I love it! |

| I thought the beta ran nicely on my Mac mini and MacBook. It actually seemed pretty stable too. I know something else. Between CS3, Leopard and iLife '07, my credit card is going to take a beating this spring and summer. |

I'm going to guess you have 2GB of RAM.
If not, you better add that to your shopping list. |

Great news.
I hope Adobe releases Photoshop Elements 5 for Mac soon. However, I wouldn't purchase it until I see what iPhoto '07 has to offer. |

I agree. I would like to see Adobe release a Universal version of Elements 5 as soon as possible. It's still an awesome piece of software for the average user. Plus, Elements 4 is real slow under Rosetta. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

ya, i've got 2 gigs
but i can still only have 2 of the 5 main applications running at the same time,
InDesign always gets first chair, and it's a hog, Illustrator or Photoshop get second depending on the image i'm working with, plus there's my font reserve, usually Acrobat or Distiller running, and an open camino window whenever i need to be doing research as well
hopefully with this update i'll be able to work much more efficiently and quickly |

Interesting, but I'm not buying it. I think Leopard is going to slip to at least WWDC in June. Plus, it looks like this event is to introduce CS3. It's not going to actually ship until later this spring.

I missed that bit in the early announcement; it was clarified later. I don't use CS3 anyway, but I thought it might mean an earlier shipment of Leopard. _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT
