Now an iMac with 3ghz 8 core cpu, 5gb memory 1Tb hdd with hi fi quality inbuilt speakers, a lightly smoked and mirrored perspex case and stand and chromed hard drive/ metalwork and electric blue circuit boards would be my ideal update. Along with built in multiple card reader and biometric finger print reader ( in place of passwords) and built in Iphone dock/charger with iPhone.
Not too much to ask?

Allan

as far as im concerned Bootcamp has changed alot of things, on everything windows does Mac Os has a competitive alternative, except gaming.

Apple must bear this inmind in the next update.

I believe the next imacs must take gaming into consideration, after all it was apple who opened the door to pcs library.

I believe the imacs must come in a few flavours

17" intel gfx, nvidea 7700

20" intel gfx, nvidea 7700, nvidea go 7900

24" intel gfx, nvidea 7700, nvidea go SLi

I find it a little old hat that my 14" laptop has a videocard that beats anything in an imac 7600GT

apple need to give people more options when buying

Yes, I agree, the new Mac ads are saying Macs are computers for the home and do fun stuff, I would have thought one of their priorities would be gaming. Their video cards have always been at the bottom end of things....

They can offer us bottom end stuff, just offer us top end too.

I would also like to see apple bring out its own stylish USB gamepad to compliment the look of the Imac too.

That would be cool, but it would probably cost £500 knowing how Apple likes to price things lol.
