That sucks!
I would rather them get it right and open up that USB port (service only ), but they've had a lot of time to work on this. I hope this thing isn't buggy out of the gate. I might look into the SlingCatcher a little more. |

| I wonder if this is more of a supply issue or a technical issue? |

I hope it's being delayed for Leopard.
I'm going to guess they're ironing out some last minute bugs and features. I don't see how supply could be a problem. There really isn't anything cutting edge about the hardware. |

I'm hoping it's delayed because Apple are not quite ready to announce movie rentals through iTunes.
I don't see how a hold up could be software/firmware related, if they are due to go on sale in 30 days then they must already be in production. Seems more likely to me that it is content (or possible delivery) related.
We'll find out in a few weeks though |

if it is bugs then release it and have firmware patches to download.
if it is supply issues then sell them on ebay and apple makes millions
if it is copyright issues then release and recall them.
if it is safety issues then wait until they fix it. |

Are you talking about the legality of streaming movies or patents? _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Also playing an important role here is Apple hasn't rolled out the iTunes Movie store in all it's primary markets, only the US. Canada, Europe, and others have yet to get the movie downloads. It would look extremely silly on Apple's part to release a device to the waiting markets that isn't supported in the same countries as it is likely being sold in.
Perhaps they're trying to get that online first. _________________ ~ OffaBroadway~

It's the old product name.

Any one find it interesting that they pushed it back to March 20th a Tuesday could this mean a Press Conference to kick off its release along with maby an update on osx secrect features and maby some more hardware. Who knows unless your one of the few with a NDA with apple.
Who knows maby they will surprise us with the osx features and then release it along adobe cs3 hehe god i love making shit up hehe. |

I somewhat doubt it. It was already discussed at the last keynote. It seems as is, keynotes don't even have time for all of Apples new products to be discussed.
My thoughts are that they are still tweaking the software. |
