I have just aquired a blue G3 imac (333mhz i think) from my mother, who does not need it any more, It has OSX.3.? on it, 512mhz of ram and an 80gb HDD. so it is not too shabby for it's age! It has no dvd drive or firewire port, so I can't put tiger on it (not too worried about that anyway!)
I am stuck for something to do with it though, it would be a real shame if it just collected dust in the corner if my room! So if anyone has any suggestions about how it could be put to work, I would be very grateful to hear them.
I think it looks really cool, and it is kinda a piece of apple history in it's own right! but then I have been called a geek once or twice before!
Thanks in advance. _________________ mac mini coreduo 1.66ghz. 1.25gb 60gb HD

Donate it to a children's home or maybe a women's shelter. _________________ MacMini 2.0GHz C2D (2009)

Definately. If you don't have a use for it, that is a great option. |

You could always donate it to me!
If you've got the desk space, set it up and use it for browsing the web, email, etc. It's always nice to have more desktop real estate. _________________ -=iMav=-

You can always use it for email or as a server. Or upgrade the processor and drives.
Or like the guy on top said, donate it. (Great idea), sell it on ebay and send the money to charity. _________________ - MacBook Pro, 15inch, 2.4GHz, 2GB, 160GB HDD, SuperDrive. I Love this Mac!!!!
