I actually started creating one yesterday but removed it. I don't want to pay for .Mac and I have never created a web page. I just find that it would be nice to be able to link people to a private website about me if I choose to do so. I meet a lot of people on trips, through hiking, motorcycle, photography groups that I'd like to share photos and stories with.
Myspace seemed kind of creepy to me, before even finishing my page I had a friend without even knowing who the person was.
If anyone has a suggestion for a free, private easy way to create a site let me know. I have web space with my ISP. |

I used to had one but recently deleted it because it was getting too creepy. I hit over 10,000 profile views, which is very weird... I know most of them were probably from the same people over and over, but that is still creepy!
Also, it's owned by NewsCorp, (FOX NEWS) who I can not stand. _________________ PPC Mac Mini User

Use iWeb and make the site (or learn HTML) and (if using iweb) publish it to folder. Pick where you want the folder to be.
Then upload the contents of the folder, via FTP, to your ISP webspace. _________________ Old Electronics Discussion:

I only have iLife '05. Another reason to buy a new computer when Leopard/iLife are released. |

He is the co-founder of MySpace and everyone is automatically a friend of Tom. Though you can delete him by the "edit friends" link and page. | sp468732 wrote: | | I used to had one but recently deleted it because it was getting too creepy. This allows only your friends to view your page. Which will be fine if you weren't accepting everyones friends request. You can also set it so that the person who is sending you a friends request, must know your email or name. This keeps the fake people from sending you invites. But you can send invites to people like normal.
Overall it is an OK site. I've dealt with other sites like MySpace before. You get most of your customization by going to web builder sites. Or if you know some HTML, etc.
I have a page, though once I customized it, I just let it sit there. _________________

I didn't realize that non-pedophile adults used MySpace. _________________ -=iMav=-

Yes, but I rarely use it. I much prefer Facebook for social networking. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external
