We've made a Widget for the site. The 123Macmini.com Widget 1.1 includes an RSS feed and links to our forums, gallery, and news. Anthony from MacPredict.com helped Charles on the project. Anthony did the code and RSS integration. While Charles did the artwork and layout. I think they did a great job! You can download the Widget here. They're still working on a few things for the next release.

Thanks for the comments! I have set up a widget page on the site. We're going to add a few more widgets and stuff on it over the next few weeks. If 10.4.2 is released this week look for some Dashboard enhancements. Apple Insider is reporting that 10.4.2 will include several enhancements that will make Dashboard widget management simpler and safer.
Widget Deletion
"According to recent rumors, the forthcoming Mac OS X 10.4.2 Update will let users delete widgets from the Dashboard dock by hovering over the widget's name and selecting a small deletion icon.
Upon selecting the icon -- a red circular image with a dash through it -- a confirmation dialog will appear, asking the user to confirm that they want to move that widget to the trash."
A New Widget Installer
"The updated version of Dashboard will also do its part to end ongoing security concerns associated with widgets. Rumor has it that in Mac OS X 10.4.2, widgets downloaded from the internet will not be installed automatically on the user's system.
Instead, when a user downloads and double-clicks on a widget in Mac OS X 10.4.2, a new Widget Installer will launch. Users will reportedly be able to "Test Drive" the widget in a self-contained area of the installer before agreeing to install it on their system."

Good job on the widget! You should submit it to the Apple widget site. _________________ 14" 1.25GHz G4 iBook (died)

Just posted 123macmini Widget 1.1. It has couple new features and smaller size. The news feed will no longer work with 1.0. You'll need to update to 1.1 to get the new feed.

Um, the widget on Apple's site is still only the 1.0 version. _________________ Computer Engineer

I updated the widget info on Apple's site the other day. It can take up to a week to update. I'd imagine the holiday has things a little behind.
