| I heard of a program called ired, but found that my Intel mac desktop could only use ired light. Now, I love my apple remote, but I was wondering if its possible to use another remote in place of it. If so, how. If not, then I guess I can always buy an Itrans. |

| I'm pretty sure you are able to use another remote, but i'm not sure how. |

| I was thinking of using a programable remote, but from what I hear that won't work. Is there any way to tell the IR reciever to treat it as the apple remote....hm... its looking unlikely now... |
