Wow, good call on the PS3 pricing!

Next year they might have to change it to AppleWorld, since Apple is no longer Apple Computer, just Apple only. _________________

It doesn't look like anything is going to be shipping today. No Leopard preview or iLife. I'm kind of disappointed. _________________ 14" 1.25GHz G4 iBook (died)

I have to say, I am very disappointed with the keynote. It was pretty much all about the iPhone, which looks very cool but I don't think it will do that well. It makes me think that Apple has to have something in the works in the next few months. I hope...
I have put my thoughts in my blog...

I guess I won't be buying a mini today... i'll have to wait until they update it - probably Q2 of this year. |

This is the worlds best keynote. The iPhone has finally been announced. I am sooooo happy that this rumor has finally been put to rest. I don't know enough about the product yet, but this thing may become very popular.
As I said previously only 25% of all the rumors will be announced at Macworld. Everyone will be disappointed. The rumor mill will churn again.
There seems to be a pattern here folks. Don't get your hopes up too high. Apple will treat you right, just be patient. |

I'm sure they will have an event sometime in the following months. It will be the updates to the Macs. I think they did a good job on this keynote. I think a processor upgrades and a few other things aren't as worthy as a big announcement as the iPhone. _________________

Well I guess I'll have to do my TV purchase also. It seems the Apple TV doesn't go below 480p. So I'll need a HDTV for it. _________________

Impressed by the iPhone, but I agree, I was hoping for some Mac updates.
All good though. |

Well, if your TV has component inputs, you could be ok. I got an "old" CRT 36" 4:3 Toshiba television, but it does support 480p.
The only question mark for me is the resolution support for the Apple TV: 640x480 maximum? That means I had to restart ripping my DVDs again? I've been ripping them in 720xWhatever for the last 2 months! Argh!
As for the keynote... I'm also confused about the no-show of Leopard, iLife '07, iWork '07, no Mac updates... I guess it was just too much stuff for a single keynote.
Next keynote should have everything else, now that the Apple TV and Apple iPhone are out of the way. |
