I'm sittin on the cash to go buy Leopard and, with any luck, the VISA to buy the 1Gb or 2Gb of RAM to go with it. Just say the word, Apple. _________________ ~ OffaBroadway~

Time Machine ALONE makes Leopard worth upgrading IMHO. No longer will I have to manage backups for my wife. Just throw an external drive on her iMac and be DONE with it.
My "antiquated" MacBook CD is ready and waiting. (that would be a welcome surprise if Leopard was released today/tomorrow) _________________ -=iMav=-

Yeah I'm really interested in Time Machine also. I'm just wondering how it is going to work, if it will, on my PPC since it is a non-Core Animation-supportive machine. _________________

I just hope Time Machine isn't too hard on the old system resources. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

It may be time (pun intended) to break the bank SCOMRAIDER! As I understand it, you'll need a Core2Duo machine to fully take advantage of Leopard. As those are the only true 64Bit machines, Leopard will supposedly run on both 32 bit and 64 bit machines but you'll lose some functionality.
I think your wallet will be "saying Uncle" not your Mini

Though I'm not sure if my next Mac will be a Mini. _________________

I'm sure Time Machine will "work" on the G4 machines just fine...it just may not be as pretty. _________________ -=iMav=-

Forget about Core Animation, we could be talking Flying Toasters. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

What websites are people using for their updates?
I'm using plain old Engadget. _________________
