it's an iPod question...probably a stupid one, but I was just wondering this before I make the purchase.
When I transfer music from iTunes to the iPod, will EVERYTHING go with the music?
I mean not just album art, but also any equalizers and volume adjustments on tracks? Or will all of this be lost in the transition? Thanks for the help for a new Mac user. |

Normally it will I've had a few songs that don't, but they were encoded very cheaply. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

Equalizer settings will not transfer. The iPod has a built in EQ, but it can't be set on a per-track basis.
I'm not 100% sure on the Volume. The iPod will certainly transfer volume settings if you turn on Sound Check on the iPod and iTunes, but I don't know if it will transfer them if you manually set volumes.
As for the others, Album Art, Lyrics (for 5G and iPod nano), Artist/Title/Album ID3 tags, are all transferred. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external
