| any one know where to get a free full version of the original doom. i tried one called doom legacy but it just gives you the first chapter |

As far as I know the actual game data to doom has never been released for free, just the game engine code.
As such the game data distributed free alongside the modified gfame engines is the shareware version as you have seen.
You just need to provide the gamedata files from a bought copy of doom to play the full version. |
