I just got this enclosure today and I uploaded a Pic. I'm wondering about heat buildup. The drive itself is enclosed in Aluminum with air holes, yet you place that inside a hard plastic shell with no airholes. Does this make sense ? And can anyone who has this enclosure comment on their experience with Heat ?

I have a 160GB cheapo enclosure that gets pretty warm. Do you have a fan in your enclosure? I'd keep an eye on it for the first few days and see if it gets real hot to the touch. I think you'll be alright.

Tough to Tell the plastic of course stays cool, no Fan in case, hard to tell if the aluminum underneath is hot or not.
