I hear these scratch well so can anyone suggest a suitable case and desktop stand? Don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks

The new Nano has an anodized aluminium body much like the old iPod Mini which is supposed to be very scratch resistant. The new Nano was designed to quiet all the complaints about scratching that arose from the old Nano.

I bought one of the NanShields from HandHandItems for eight dollars. I've used it with my black nano for over six months and it still looks new. I also kept the plastic cover (from the factory) on the front to protect the Click Wheel. They also sell a black dock for the nano, but I've never seen it in person.

What luck!

Just nipped into the local supermarket for some lunch and on the checkout they had "iPod Nano skins" for £1!

Nano arrived while I was out so it's now charging in its skin which will do until I get a good case.

@ Brian

Thanks for pointing me to HandHeldItems they are a great site and they ship overseas at a reasonable rate - will definitely be buying from them.

I'm syncing my contacts and calendar to this does anyone know of a way to

- start the week on a Monday - can't seem to find it

- do an iSync style "don't sync older than a week" type setting?

lol! my parents came back from Tesco's assuring me that they had iPods for sale for £1. Its actually quite scary how they've managed to make a simple £1 case actually look like it contains an iPod nano, the packaging is worthy of Apples own efforts.

I hasten to add that i didn't rush out to see these £1 iPods.
