|
|
Hello all,
I kind of a new Mac user (although technically not since my first computer was the Apple SE II then I went to windows and now I'm back) and I had a question reguarding OS upgrade.
I ordered my Mini in April 2 days before the eligible time period for getting a discount on the Tiger upgrade. I want to upgrade to Tiger, but I am thinking that perhaps when the 10.5 comes out in lieu of the future switch to Intel chips that the 10.4 upgrade will be cheaper.
Are my assumptions baseless, or am I right in considering waiting untill the next release to upgrade to Tiger for a reduced price?
Thanks
-Ian |

You may have to wait close to a year before you see 10.5 come out and the price to really drop on Tiger! But look here http://www.megamacs.com/v1/?action=view&pid=2771694 for a good price! _________________ 13' Macbook 2.0ghz C2D w/2gb RAM and 120gb HD

Well, technically, the Apple II's were NOT Mac's...so you ARE a new Mac user. _________________ -=iMav=-

I remember after that old Mac got to a certain age (it was about 1997) a lot of programs stopped working and at the end of its life it was merely used to play wheel of fourtune, lol.
I gave it to my cousins but I wish I still had it now because maybe I could fix it up. Just keep browsing ebay though, he he. |
