| It will be slower as it is 802.11b not 802.11g like the new cards. |

There's one in my iBook - seems fine for surfing etc. Wouldn't expect it to stream multimedia content though. _________________ iMac intel CoreDuo 17" 1Gb

For internet access, your ISP connection will likely still be the bottleneck. The only downside is reduced speed for filesharing and such with other computers on your local network. _________________ -=iMav=-

Hi Luke,
Like iMav says, your isp will still be your bottleneck, unless you've got faster than 10Mbs connection
The airport card is great! fully supported in passive mode and packet injection in Kismac. Lots of wireless jiggery-pokery, fun for the whole fambly

| i have a 2 gb broadband. when using wifi ~It will be in internet palces /hotels..so reccon they will be fast? ! |
