mine only has a Cd player (Is this right??) fancy upgrading to a combo drive. Will it work in my ibook???

Depends on what exact Mac you have...iBook, PowerBook, Power Macintosh, etc.? Give us a little more information about the specs and we'd be glad to answer... _________________ MBP 2.4 C2D; 4GB

acording to th especs..its just a cd/drive. so the quaestion remains: will a combo fit and work??

It would probably be better to just add an external FireWire drive. Then, you would have two, and could use it on other Macs in the future. _________________ MBP 2.4 C2D; 4GB

like the idea of having to carry less ! Thats why I changed to Macs! smaller and easier to work with.
So internal is what I am looking for.

| Cheers for your help. I have found a few repairers in London who carry sttock of new and S/H parts. Ive had a quote of £100 fitted an dwith a guarantee. |
