I like it! And you KNOW there were listening to Mac mini owners with the inclusion of the front power button and audio IN in the back.
I'm with Jase. This would make a nice complimentary Linux box to set next to my Mini! _________________ -=iMav=-

I'm already planning my Mini migration path. When the new MinTel is available, I'll upgrade and give the kids my current mini. Right now they've inherited my old Dell PIII which in a way I kind of feel guilty about (they deserve a Mac). _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

To each his own, but I actually like the switch on the back. I have a 2-year old and the front power and reset buttons as well as the DVD tray eject on the front of my old Dell are a continual source of entertainment for him. _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Yeah, I would hope that would change before any production release. _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

When the Mac Mini's came out, I bought 3. One for me, one for my 5 year old and one for my 3 year old. (oh, also bought a 17" iMac for my wife)
If/when I replace any of the mini's, they will likely go to extended family members who are currently suffering with antiquated x86 boxes with the nasty installed. _________________ -=iMav=-

If you look close at the picture on page 2 it appears the top port is shaped like a FireWire port. It even has another label above it.

After enlarging it 250% I have to agree, one side of the opening is triangular shaped like a FW port, incredible! What the Macmini lacks this thing has (not enough ports, but OK), it lacks such a stupid thing as a telephonemodem (just supply it as an extra through your USB port!) but has this thing a PS/2 port (keyboard I guess) or what IS that big round thing? _________________ take care,

As you compare it with a piece of high fidelity equipment, most, so not all of the amps/receivers have all the entrances at the back, but if it was possible to put a couple of ports (for a USB stick, a temporary connection of one kind or another) behind a little door of some kind. But hey! It's not even an Apple! _________________ take care,

actually most of the prosumer A/V equipment I have has ports on the front as well as back...
front ports is quite natural for everything but the absolute cheapest A/V equipment. |
