Hook Guitar or Mic up to Mac Mini with New USB Adapters

Jamplug a division of DVForge, today announced that its new GuitarPlug and MicPlug plug-in form factor USB audio interfaces for Mac OS X are now shipping. Since the Mac mini lacks an audio in jack these plugs maybe good option for Mac mini users looking to get a Guitar or Mic line in. Each converts mono analog audio to 16-bit, 48KHz digital USB audio, is class compliant, and works with any Mac OS X application that accepts USB audio at that data rate.
DVForge - "Apple's GarageBand or Logic users can now use our single channel USB audio interfaces to connect their guitar or microphone to their Mac," said C.J. Sorg, Manager, Music Products for DVForge, Inc. "The GuitarPlug and the MicPlug connect either an electric guitar or dynamic microphone to any Mac running OS X 10.2.8 or higher, using a simple USB cable."
The GuitarPlug and MicPlug are both just 2.3" by .7" in size, are USB bus powered, with an on-off switch, and a blue LED power indicator. Each converts mono analog audio to 16-bit, 48KHz digital USB audio, is class compliant, and works with any Mac OS X application that accepts USB audio at that data rate.
The GuitarPlug has a 1/4-inch guitar plug for use with any electric guitar or bass, and the MicPlug has an XLR plug for use with any dynamic handheld microphone. Both products are now shipping at a MSRP of $49.99, each"
