The stand measures 11" wide x 9" deep x 3.3" tall and will accommodate displays weighing up to 60 pounds. Stand By Mi will begin shipping the first week of September with a suggested retail price of $44.99.
Hang With Mi is a metal under the desk mount designed for the Mac mini. It also includes an integrated front 4-port self powered USB 2.0 hub. According to the company, "No room on your desk? No problem. Hang With Mi will keep your Mac Mini conveniently out of your way. Tucking underneath your desk, Hang With Mi allows maximum airflow that your Mac Mini required to perform at optimum level." The mount measures 6.8" wide x 6.5" deep x 3.4" tall and requires a mounting surface that is at least 1" thick. Very nice. Similar to the Grandstand Steel but with a hub.
I'd love to see one built a little taller to accommodate a LaCie mini or Ministack V.2 under the mini. |

The Hang with Mi seems nice to me. The Stand by Mi looks horrendous, at least to my tastes. _________________

The hang does look much better. However, I like the idea of getting a little more height out of the Cinema display. This is why I am a Grandstand Steel owner. |

A firewire port would be nice too. In fact, I'd rather have 2 of each. Oh well. _________________ Mac mini core 2 duo 2.33/2 GB RAM/160 GB 5K160, Dell 20.1" wide-aspect

I like the design of Cinema displays, but there are just too many caveats for me to get one.
I'm a tall person, standing around 6-foot 5. I also tend to use my Mac Mini while laying down on my bed (which it sits next to). So not having the ability to raise or tilt clockwise/counter-clockwise, is just another minus on them for me. Maybe if I win that lottery and get a Mac Pro at a desk. Until then, either Dell (shutters) or Samsung for me. _________________

My question now is, Yvan, what is Cinnamon Peripherals' CinnaMount going to be all about? Hub or any other extras?
Anyhoo, I love the option of black anodized. _________________

I'll definitely be ponying up the money for the Stand By Mi; as I'm getting pretty tired of reaching around back for my USB's.
Not too keen on the brushed aluminum look, I'd rather have the choice between aluminum and black.
Still, a good product executing a great idea. _________________ mac Mini Intel Core Duo 1.66ghz

What's up with the Dances with Wolves names?
Stand By Mi looks like winner, but I'm not so sure about the other one. Although, if you have your mini mounted underneath a desk, the ports are probably a pain in the ass to access. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Stand by Mi makes the Mac mini look like it has Dumbo ears.
Or wearing one of those hats with the dropping ear covers....

LOL. I don't think so.
You can see a picture of my setup in the gallery with the Grandstand Steel. Same sort of idea without the hub.
p.s. I've since purchased a wireless mouse. |

I'm talking about the picture they give. Also it does look that way from looking at it level from the front. _________________

No hub included, but it will be less expensive and have a feature not present on any other mounts currently available. There will also be a choice between silver and black anodization. |

I'm going to order one too. I'm just tired of monkeying around in the back plugging in my digital cameras and iPod. I had an old USB hub, but it recently crapped out on me. So this looks like a nice solution at a decent price. Luckily the brushed aluminum matches the rest of my gear. |

| The Hang With Mi looks great -- but where is space for an external HD like the one I just bought from OWC? Seems to me that HD space needs to be added. |
