Eww, grubby!

I take my iPod everywhere with me and I use the little grey sleeve that came with it to keep it from harm, which it seems to do fine. I noticed today however, that the aforementioned sleeve has become pretty grubby. I tried rubbing it with some chemicals at work (I work in a print/design company, so we have lots of these!) but it just seemed to make it smeary!

Has anyone cleand their ipod case? what did you use?

Chemicals???? What kind????

To be honest, I don't use the case that much anymore. I bought the Crystal Film kit from Power Support and it protects my nano well. I did wash mine out with soapy water a few times and let it air dry. It seemed to clean it pretty well, but it got grubby again in no time. I swear they must be made out the same material as a car shammy cloth. Once you stain them, forget about it.

Nothing too scary! just a light solvent, but like I say it did'nt work very well!

I've just applied the artwizz film cover to my 5g 20gb ipod. I got the set with the cleaning solution from the Apple store. It cost a bit more than I would really have liked but I am really pleased with the results. The cream cleaner polished all the scratches out and - more inportantly - the film went on really well so I dont' have to handle my ipod like eggs anymore!
