I just ordered a Dell 2005FPW 20.1" wide aspect LCD. $449.40+tax ($476.36) delivered.
I guess my debating over the mini and iMac is over. I'm getting the mini. I just dont want to tie a monitor to the computer perminently. Makes upgrading a bi*c*. I will wait till tommorows developer conference and hope there is a announcment for some small upgrades.
Gee mom Looks like i am making the switch...Think Different.
I drive a Mini Cooper, My computer is a Mini I guess I gots to get an iPod Mini next. |

That is what I would do (over an iMac).
The LCD will last through several revisions of CPU. I have a 2005FPW and it is very nice on both Mac OS X and on my Linux/Win2000 gaming box.
Cool thing about just buying the monitor alone is that you get a full 3-year warrany from Dell, not just the 1-year you would have if it came with a computer.
A Mini and a 2005FPW makes a sweet, sweet little rig. You an even velcro mount the mini on the back and have all-in-one appearance. |

I can see purchasing the 2005FPW with coupons, but without coupons, I would purchase the Apple Cinema display only $25 difference after shipping. At least on the Canadian website.
If I were purchasing a 23" I would go with the Dell over the Apple. Too much of a price difference.
How does one go about getting Dell coupons? |

Thanks Billabong that's a lot of coupons.
Too bad they don't have one for the 2405FPW yet. |
