I saw a RadTech coupon in the back of Macworld magazine, but I can't seem to find the issue. I have a bad habit of trashing magazines and throwing them away. Do you know when the coupon expires? I'm pretty sure I'm going to order the BT600 and give it a shot, but I want to look around just a little more. You know, I may have considered the BT Mighty Mouse, but the lack of rechargeable batteries and integrated recharger threw that right out the window. |
Not sure when that code expires, but they usually have one in the back of Macworld a couple of times a year. _________________ Mac Pro Quad 2.66GHz, PowerMac G5 2.3 GHz, iMac Core Duo 17", MacBook Pro 2GHz, MacBook Pro 2.2GHz, Mac mini Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz. | I'd like to see a dock too. Most companies that have docking wireless mice have docks that are ugly as sin. *cough cough* Logitech |

I picked one up at lunch today. I am using right now with my MacBook Pro. I must say, that I do like this mouse. The left click is a bit of a pain, but it is not that bad. I read that the battery life on the Bluetooth Mighty Mouse is 3-months on one lithium AA battery and 6-months on two AA lithium batteries. I guess time will tell. _________________ Mac Pro Quad 2.66GHz, PowerMac G5 2.3 GHz, iMac Core Duo 17", MacBook Pro 2GHz, MacBook Pro 2.2GHz, Mac mini Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz. Multi-K9 Security System. I bought one at the Apple Store too. The tracking of the new Mighty Mouse seems much better than wired version. I have a shiny desk and the wired Mighty Mouse would flake out on it. The wireless Mighty doesn't flake out at all. I guess the laser is just more accurate or something. The only other difference is the wireless Mighty weighs more because of the batteries. |

For a desktop, I agree with you. But if you're like me and travel a lot with my Macbook, lugging a rechargin dock & a ac adapter for it, just isn't a good solution.
I picked up the Wireless Mighty Mouse and I'm quite satisfied with it.
