does anyone know if i bought a 20" iMac can the video card be updated from 128 to 256mb at a later time?

I'm under the impression the video memory is on board the ATI chip. _________________ Moe

Apple Sucks!!! you'd think they'd offer you a way to get decent video w/o going for an all in 1!

Well I would not say apple sucks but I do agree that it is kind of a pain to not be able to later upgrade certain parts at a later date. |

| Apple sucks? Why, because they didn't consult you prior to developing a product that seems to please most of its users? There is a PowerMac available. You can purchase the iMac with 256MB. If you need 256MB then just by what you need to begin with. If you need the flexability to upgrade internal components as you go. Then we're back to the PowerMac. |
