| Installation went without a hitch -- but now my iTunes store is in Spanish. How do I change that back to English. |

| Scroll down to the bottom of the main iTunes home page and there will be a little country drop down. |

Well I didn't disconnect any USB devices and it all seemed to go swimmingly for me. BTW I am a new mac mini owner, after having been planning it since they first came out I got myself a Core Duo the other day. Mmmm, I'm still excited!

I had the same hiccup 2-3 updates ago. It also reset my screensaver back to Flurry from iTunes album art. I didn't have any trouble after resetting them back. _________________ 2.4GHz MacBook Pro/4GB/320GB HD

Waiting for the developer of TransparentDock to update, before I update my Mac to 10.4.7. _________________ MacBook 2.0Ghz CD (black) |

Try Cleardock instead; it's free and it can make your dock transparent, among other things. _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT

Another Intel Core Duo Mini survives the update.
Didn't disconnect any of my USB devices (Tascam US-122, iPod, etc) and it would seem no harm done. Everything was right where I left it when I rebooted. What exactly did they fix? All under the hood for 136mb? I wanted to see something neat.
Oh well. Gotta thank whoever plugged OnyX on this topic. Didn't know there was a program out that was that in-depth and also free. Thought you needed TinkerTool System to do most of that. Thanks! _________________ ~Mac Mini Core Duo / 512Mb / 80Gb / Tascam US-122~

Don't know how this could be related to the 10.4.7 update, but my Boot Camp install is acting all wacky. It keeps searching for a new USB device. I've also noticed that the mini's fan is making more noise. |

I love OnyX, it does really do a lot of nice stuff - and I believe it is Universal.
Don't know about BootCamp, maybe there is a new beta coming out soon? |

Of course I couldn't wait. So I backed up and upgraded to 10.4.7.
Of course, everything was fine.

And it looks like the Intel Macs have a revised version of 10.4.7:
http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=1852
From the article:
Apple Computer forgot to include some files with its Intel distribution of Mac OS X 10.4.7 Update and is issuing a revised updater, the company said in an email on Thursday.
"The install package that upgrades a Mac OS X v10.4.6 (Intel) system is being revised," the company said. "The revision is to provide several files related to OpenGL performance that were missing.
Only the package that upgrades a Mac OS X v10.4.6 (Intel) system to Mac OS X v10.4.7 (Intel) is being changed, Apple said. All other Mac OS X v10.4.7 install packages remain unchanged.
So if you used the Combo Updater (you did, didn't you? ) you are fine. If you used Software Update and have an Intel Mac, check again.

That means another 134mb download doesn't it?
Oh well. At least they noticed. Microsoft would have noticed about a month afterward if it was their patch. _________________ ~Mac Mini Core Duo / 512Mb / 80Gb / Tascam US-122~

Does it have to be manual, or can we get it through Software Update?
EDIT:
Nope, not on Software Update, and I can't find it on Apple's website either. What do we do? Do we wait, and will our Mini's survive until then? |
