What have you found to be a good partition size for Windows?
I have an 80 gig drive to share and keep most of may data on an external drive to share with other PCs on my network.
I dont suspect that I will be loading up on additional Windows programs but will be installing a few as needed. (Not a gamer)
What size did you use?
Do you wish you went larger or smaller?

I also have an 80GB HD.
I set my windows partition at 15GB, installed windows XP Home edition and I still have 11GB free.
So it seems windows uses about 4GB of room on your drive.
Cheers

I have a 60gb partitioned as 45 / 10 [OS X / XP].
Have done the XP part as FAT32 so I can have an alias to 'XP Desktop' on my OS X desktop so I can drag/drop when in OS X. It's pretty good!
I've got an external 200GB HD with a 32GB FAT32 partition for bigger windows files if I need em.
EDIT:
Originally I gave XP 20GB but this didn't leave enough for the World's Greatest OS, so I wiped it and went to 10GB and feel this is about right. _________________ Don't drink & post. |

Cool.
I was thinking about 15 gigs so it looks like im in the ballpark.
I have a 250 gig Ext fat32 hooked up as well purely for data storage. I’m anal about keeping data separate for backup purposes.
As soon as I get home this evening ill get started on it. I do have a backup issue on OSX that I can figure out. I’m getting an error message that something is running and it won’t let me do a disk image. Ill make a post about it when I have the exact error.
