My xbench scores have dropped since installing 10.4.1:
10.4 - 114
10.4.1 - 91

Anyone else experiencing this?

Brendan

I reinstalled Tiger from scratch and my scores went back to pre-Tiger levels. Booting from my external HD yields a 126.

I think clean installs are always the best way to go. What was your score with the internal drive?

My score runs between 112-117 with the 80GB/512MB. Most of the scores with 7200RPM internal and external 7200RPM Firewire drives seem to be running 125-140. I've been going through the submitted benchmarks on the XBench site looking for the highest score. It would make it easier if they added a Mac mini section. Smile
