|
|
I can't help but notice some very cheap Intel iMacs turning up as refurbs on the US site and wondered what the dfferences between US and UK models would be?
I assume the PSU would be multivoltage but what else? ISTR that warranties are now all international is that correct? Does it apply to refurb store items?
Would Apple UK repair the iMac if it failed? Does anyone have experience of getting overseas sourced equipment repaired in the UK?
A minor but important question is would an iMac survive a ride in the baggage hold? What's the packaging like? |

| The PSU is indeed multivoltage. I know that my Powerbook G4 is eligible for overseas repair, but I do not have any experience with desktop/consumer models and overseas repair. I think the Powerbook may be eligible simply because it is a portable. Sorry that I could not be of more help. |
