| I want to give a friend of mine my list of iTunes music. Is there a way to export this to a file other than that .xml? It would be nice to be able to save it to a text file. |

Well, you can select File > Export Song List... and save to a text file in iTunes. However, it saves a lot of information you may not want in addition to the titles, etc.
Some folks have developed scripts to save the information in different formats. Try looking here...
