VPC will run an accounting program like that just fine on a mini. VPC does not work with G5's but a G4 mini will run it pretty well.
It will probably even run reasonably fast. |

Thanks for the info.
I have ordered a Intel mini instead of going the software route.I believe this will give me more options in the future.
Cheers

According to the Virtual PC 7 System requirements: "Hardware: A 700 MHz native* PowerPC G3, G4 or G5 processor" |

Well, shows I am out of date. I evidently missed the update where that was fixed. Years ago. |

How long after you turn off and turn on does it work? Mine ask me to type an authentication code but since it does not work, I can't do that!
Ive tried it without a code but no luck.
Any help would be appreciated

I finally have my duo core mini.
Installed bootcamp today and all is well, windows works fine.
I have to say though, 5 months without windows and now I can see how crappy it looks. Switching back and forth between the 2 OS's shows just how much better MacOSX is.
Good thing I will only have to use windows very rarely.
Cheers

Your Mac Mini running VirtualPC should blaze through QuickTax. If thats your only Windows must-have, get VPC and garage sale the PC box. Then you'll be PC free.
It's a good feeling. _________________ ~Mac Mini Core Duo / 512Mb / 80Gb / Tascam US-122~
