You can play games online with or against other people. Also GameRanger is mac only so if you have any Mac questions you can chat with people in the chat rooms.

Looks pretty cool. Although I wish more game vendors would follow Blizzard's lead and make online gaming more platform agnostic...

With gameranger you play on diffirent servers that the PC does. For example if i play XIII on my mm i can only join server of player who also play with gameranger, that sucks.

I use gameranger with the halo demo. It does have some issues but its great otherwise. Depending on the game, its %100 free.

Gameranger's heydey seems to have been a few years ago. It doesn't seem too active now.
