If you think about getting a Mac Mini it is probably worth waiting until July: http://macosrumors.com/20050429.php

The typical Apple strategy. I keep forgetting: never buy the first generation of any Apple hardware.

If they really are able to put all the goodies in this little space I for one will finally overcome my hesitation and buy one. What's anyones guess: $700?

I doubt they will rise the price. They might add another model and call it the super mini! Very Happy

Crying or Very sad

I'm going to hate myself, but I really can't wait two months for a Mini.

If they make all that happen in the next mini, I will DEFINITELY be adding a forth (and perhaps a fifth) to my mini stable...

Does anyone know how credible these sources are? I was thinking of getting mine early (I was planning on getting it the last week of July) but if this is true then I will definitely stick it out on my junker PC for a little while longer.

I'd take them with a grain of salt. My bet is back to school time!

I agree. I don't plan to pick mine up until Xmas anyway, so hopefully we see at least a 9600 video card and a 5400RPM drive as base components. Throw in a dual layer DVD-RW as a build to order option and I'm ready to shell out $799.

Oh man, my mouth is watering in anticipation... (hopefully that doesn't sound too weird) I don't think I'll be able to hold out that long though... Cool
