| Ok, I admit it..I'm new. Brand spankin' new. It's frustrating and humbling, but I'm getting used to it. One thing I can't figure out, though...what's with the dragonfly in my Mail messages?? I'm pretty sure it's an attachment, but I can't figure out how to open it. |

I think you might be referring to the picture that is associated with another mac user. It's the same icon that you see when you logon. So somebody sending you a letter has the stock dragonfly as their personal account icon.
Just a guess. Or perhaps the dragonfly is your login icon? |

Yup, ok, I guess that's part of it. The dragonfly IS my logon icon. However, why is it only on messages in which I have attachments or an attached URL?
It appears in both the preview window, as well as the full blown message when I open it. The icon appears in the upper right hand corner of the message or preview window.
This is really frustrating, because I'm very technical (senior engineer at my software company) but learning Mac is a whole new ball of wax!
