I once stayed up over 72 hours straight when I was in the military (not out of choice).. The first 48 were a piece of cake, but the last 24 hours were a complete blur.. I remember being very loopy and driving a vehicle is definitely not encouraged
Good luck! Make sure you have plenty of Coke, water, and food.. Cold air helps too... _________________ Vote for me, and your wildest dreams will come true.. - Pedro Sanchez, "Napoleon Dynamite" |

Well I've passed the 36 hour mark, now all thats left is, I don't know, I'll go as long until I just crash in front of my computer, or watching a movie. I hope to do 48, just keep upping the ante every time i reach a certain point. _________________ Mac Mini, 1.25 Ghz, 40Gb, 512, combo drive. Imac G4, 1 Ghz, 80Gb, 768, Super Drive.

Eliminating single nights have always been fairly easy for me. Quite possibly due to my past gaming addictions.
In the military, I often went without sleep. For me, once I get past that first "wall", I'm good to go. _________________ -=iMav=-

Well, I was feeling very very tired, and had run out of caffien at around 2:00 last night, so the record was 44:30. pretty good. _________________ Mac Mini, 1.25 Ghz, 40Gb, 512, combo drive. Imac G4, 1 Ghz, 80Gb, 768, Super Drive.

Yeah, 44:30 sounds more likely than 33 years. Personally I'm asleep on the couch by 9:30.

My body can stay up for countless hours as long as my head never touches a pillow and try 72+ hours a pain in the ass and I did this last summer and I turned 14 2 monthes ago. Also, I hate sleep I spend my time just doing things that I never have done before. I did use about 4 cups of coffee though and also I drink lots of tea, but as long as I eat regularly I can go for hours and skip one night and have P.E. the next morning at school. One time I crashed, but that's because I couldn't do and slept for 14 hours solid. Also, I have a slight insomnia that depends on my diet and mood, but certain foods like turkey have a reverse effect on me and keep me up, but then again I can eat high acid foods with no problem and I've had IBS for 2 years and I can drink vodka with no after effects (hey it got me $20 and it was just one shot) also I drink wine sometimes, since I can't get drunk off of about 10 oz. phisically, mentally, or legally (odd since 4 oz. can get you legally drunk). I don't advise underage drinking, but my family is German and they believe in the old ways where kids are aloud to drink. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."
