I just set up my new macMini and it's updateing applications. 
I have been using a 20 GB iPod with my XP machine and want to move all to the macMini. Can I just plug the iPod into the macMini? Or is there a disk format problem?
I'm new to OS-X but used Apple products a couple of decades ago.

| It will work on the Mac without reformatting it. I recommend using iPodRip (versiontracker.com) to transfer the songs from the iPod to the mini. Be careful not to write the blank library currently on the mini over the full iPod. Don't delete the songs off your PC until you know you have successfully transfered the songs to the mini. |
