I´m getting a mini and I am upgrading to 1GB ram myself to save some cash. Should I go with the ddr333 pc2700, or the ddr400 pc3200? What the difference would be??
P.S. Do u know what type of RAM the Chip Merchant sells? (brand?) |

| PC3200 would be the best but you can use PC2700. |

The mini uses pc2700 (333MHz), but pc3200 (400MHz) will work. It will run at the lower 333MHz speed. Both will work. Buy what ever is cheaper. Check this thread for what others have used: http://www.123macmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=495
Hope that helps. |

Just a note PC3200 will not make your mini any faster than PC2700. _________________ 14" 1.25GHz G4 iBook (died)

| Cheaper PC3200 may be a better value than more expensive PC2700. It's timings when underclocked may leave more room for error for the mini. |
