To help running parallels ...
I see there is a way to access EFI setup:

The question is will it be possible to enabled vt-x by using this interface?

My mini core duo has VT-x enabled and it works under Paralled WS 2.1 beta on OS X. I don't know why some core duos have it enabled and some disabled. There's a thread on the Parallels forum trying to figure this issue out.

Yep. Would be nice to have it working. It doesn't on mine.

How much of a performance improvement does it get you in Parallels?
