The edges of widescreen moves are dull and I see artifacts from the movie playing below the black like with my Intel Mac mini. I have tried making on screen adjustments with my Dell 26" LCD TV, but can't seem to fix it.
This picture shows the area I am talking about. It doesn't show what I am seeing (I have no idea how to take a screenshot of a movie in full screen). I pulled the screenshot from Google and put the arrow in myself.
I am new to OS X and don't know how to fine-tune the picture. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

It sounds like you might need to calibrate the display in OS X. Go to System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate > Select Expert mode. Go through the through the steps and adjust the display's native response. When you get to Select Target Gamma slide the slider up to around 2.00. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini
