Mini is my first Mac and I'm looking for a primer for installing Tiger when it comes. Clean install the best way to go? Anything to watch out for?

Installing Mac OS is pretty straight forward! The biggest thing to watch for is the common sence basics. Meaning Back up your info. Music, photos. documents and all that stuff. Other then that as long as you follow the prompts it should go very smoothly. Good Luck and Welcome to Mac!

Thanks guys!

That article was exactly what I was looking for! I'm probably going to go the clean install route since backing up won't be that hard "not many files on it yet". Would it be smart to deauthorize the mini in iTunes before doing a clean install?

Yes, make sure you deauthorize it before hand other wise you have to call Apple to get all the proper autherizations done. PIA! I still have to call and get mine fixed from a previous dumb moment!
