advice for buying a mini

I am currently considering purchasing a new mini for a media center. I am interested in streaming audio and video over Airport from a Pismo to the mini. I have 1.5 TB of storage hooked up to the Pismo holding my music library and video library. I want to be able to play music, watch video from the hard drive, and watch DVDs. I may want to add something like EyeTV functionality in the future.

How does the default configuration 1.5 GHz perform for this kind of set-up? Should I get the 1.66 GHz model? What about add RAM? Obviously, I don't want to buy more system than I need, but I also don't want to suffer through not having enough GHz or RAM to make everything work smoothly.
